Low pressure / loss of water in Tiverton area

We would like to apologise to customers in the Tiverton area who may experience low pressure or loss of water later on today. A burst pipe has caused flooding at Allers Water Treatment Works that is resulting in difficulties supplying water. We anticipate that it could be several hours until the situation is resolved.

The areas that will be initially affected are:

 

• Calverleigh
• Templeton
• Cruwys Morchard
• Withleigh
• Cotteylands
• Farleigh
• Walronds Estate 

We are asking customers to use water wisely to help us conserve supplies in the area.

 

Our engineers are onsite working to clear the flooding and reinstate the pumps that have failed as a result.

 

We are mobilising alternative water supplies, locations of which will be shared in following updates.

 

At this stage we are unable to determine the duration but we will provide updates throughout the day.
