Our region remains officially in drought and a Temporary Use Ban (known as a hosepipe ban) remains in place for Cornwall and a small part of North Devon. Reservoir levels are recovering across the region, but remain low for this time last year.
Behind the scenes, we’re busy maintaining and improving our network and have made great strides in reducing leakage with more still to do.
We still need everyone’s help to reduce the demand for water, and help our reservoirs fully recover – we can’t just rely on rain anymore. We have to be in a stable position for the summer.
We’re rallying businesses across the South West to help reduce consumption. Together we can do more.

We know you're full of great ideas. Why not turn your naturally innovative thoughts to water-efficiency? Often just a simple conversation can result in new savings. We know that from experience. To help bring those ideas into the real world, we’ve set up a fund to support them. If it saves water, we want to hear about it. It doesn’t have to be the “first of its kind thinking” but it might be a first for your business. Such as grey water systems, rainwater harvesting or even installing new water efficient appliances.
