Revocation of Upper Tamar Lake Drought Permit

The drought permit granted on 28 September 2022 pursuant to section 79A of the Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Environment Act 1995), relating to abstraction from the Upper and Lower Tamar Lakes in the Tamar region of the Roadford Water Resource Zone has been revoked by the Environment Agency on 23 November 2022, at the request of South West Water Ltd ("SWW").

SWW would like to thank their customers for their cooperation in conserving water and request that customers continue to be mindful of their water use to ensure the security of future supplies.
