NOTICE OF DROUGHT PERMIT

TAKE NOTICE that a drought permit has been granted by the Environment Agency on 31 October relating to the River Fowey abstraction at Restormel Water Treatment Works, following an application by South West Water Limited (“the Company”) to the Environment Agency under Section 79A of the Water Resources Act 1991 as amended by the Environment Act 1995.

The drought permit, which will apply until 31 March 2023, authorises the Company to increase the daily and annual abstraction volume, subject to conditions.

Anyone may inspect the permit, free of charge, during normal working hours at:
