Who we are

Bournemouth Water are part of South West Water, but have a long history dating back to 1863. Bournemouth Water supply drinking water to nearly half a million people in an area that covers parts of Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire.

What we do

We deliver over 106 million litres of water each day through some 2,831km of water mains to 205,700 homes and 16,000 businesses, we are a water only company. Sewerage services are provided by Wessex Water or Southern Water. We have two key sources, the Stour and Avon rivers, where we abstract water from the environment and treat it before supplying our customers. We pride ourselves on safeguarding our water supply for the future.
